The company

The company of Doc. Ing. Milos Michlovsky, DrSc., finalizes vinegrowing by the highest quality wine production. The young company was established in 1993 and it produced above all vine designated for production of sparkling wines. In 1995 the company started to bottle its own best wines and to archive them till their best state of maturity. In the period, when average wines filled up the market, it has addressed the demanding consumer by high quality. After a fast rise the company has taken up its leading position at many wine exhibitions and contests at home as well as abroad. The success was not a temporary one – it has never deserted them since.

Permanent high quality and gustatory difference of wine as well as non-interchangeable labeling of bottles signed by Doc. Ing. Miloš Michlovsky, DrSc., opened up a way to specialized shops, top gastronomy and to the tables of selected costumers. Our ancestors knew well the main influence of the location and soil quality on vine growing. Century after century it has ruled along with tireless toil on quantity and quality of the wine produced. The vineyards of the company Vinselekt Michlovsky a.s.are the part of the Moravia vine growing region and include Mikulov and Velky Pavlovice sub-regions.

They spread out on a large territory in the South of Moravia, where the vine growing tradition is based on hospitable natural conditions. These conditions are very similar to the territory of Southern and Eastern border of West Carpathian mountain massif in the neighboring Austria and Slovakia. The vineyards are located in the warmest regions of Southern Moravia. Sunny and warm climate suitable for vine is supplemented by varied range of soils on hardened or unhardened sediments.
