Winemakers from the Czech Republic gained 60 gold medals in a competition in Austria
Brno - Winemakers from the Czech Republic gained 60 gold medals in the International Wine Challenge - AWC Vienna* in Austria. Vinselekt Michlovský was among the best with 10 gold medals.
"We are very pleased with this appraisal of our wines which are widely distributed, especially in restaurants where our customers appreciate and perceive it very positively," said Mr Petr Hučka, Director of Vinselektu Michlovský, a.s..
The International Wine Challenge - AWC Vienna takes place at the Federal College and Office of Viniculture and Pomology in Klosterneuburg. The awarding of the AWC Vienna trophies and the presentation of the best wineries will take place in the Vienna City Hall Ballroom, on October 23rd 2016. This year, the wine challenge was participated in by 1,866 wineries from 41 countries from all over the world, A total of 12,826 wines were entered in this challenge.
